I often think about my own journey to motherhood when photographing my Boise maternity and newborn clients. There are so many things I would tell a younger me holding those sweet babies of mine. I can vividly remember those first nights at home with them and how unabashedly I was in love with them. I would tell myself to get in the frame more. Take the photos of all those memories that seem to be stolen under the cloak of night. Memories that become hazy with time and you wish you could revisit time and time again.

I loved that this mama came to me and wanted to be a part of all her son’s first milestones. With all my First Year Kindred Collections we have special sessions all throughout your child’s first 18 months of life. The milestones certainly don’t stop at 18 months but this collection is great for any new mama who wants to document bump to baby. With an intimate maternity session followed by newborn portraits I loved what we captured in studio.
