Outdoor Boise Family Session

I never take for granted the privilege of watching so many families grow up in front of my lens. From newborn to teen, the transition seems so quick and that’s because it is! When looking back you will be so grateful for documenting it all. And because Boise provides so many beautiful backdrops, there is never a wrong time of year to book an outdoor family photo session.

I have been lucky enough to photograph this family since their second son was a tiny newborn. Throughout the years I have seen their little personalities evolve (love seeing that show through in their photos!), and the best part – being able to witness and photograph the close bond they all share.

For their session, we selected neutral, darker colors for their wardrobe. This ensured they would really stand out against the soft, muted pallet of the Boise open space. As a result, their cohesiveness made even stronger by their three dogs, who fit the setting so effortlessly! Just look at them, are they not just the perfect little poodle trio?

The result is beautiful family photographs that allows their family connection to really shine. I know myself, as a mom of two teenagers, just how special that is and how much I value these types of photos with my own children as they get older.
