Yes, I know we all want that "perfect-everyone-looking-at-the-camera-smiling" portrait, but I promise that Boise family photo sessions with me are so much more than that! Your session will be relaxed, playful, connection-filled, and show off your family's personality.
To make sure that you feel comfortable in front of my lens, I provide posing guidance so you're never wondering what to do with your hands, and I have games & prompts to loosen up the toughest dads or tame the most “spirited” toddlers. With my kid-led philosophy, we let the kids be the compass and then I guide the rest of the family as we make magical family portraits together!

Once you've reserved your session we'll meet to talk about your vision for your session and artwork, and figure out wardrobe and location details. Booking your session early is suggested for peace of mind.
Connection-filled Session
Whether we're in my light-filled studio or outside on-location in the Boise area, I’ll help you feel natural, relaxed, and confident in front of the camera. You just love on your family and I’ll take care of the rest.
Artwork you love
You'll receive my guidance as we select the images that speak most to your heart. Whether you choose an heirloom album, a gallery wall, or a blend of printed and digital images, you’ll leave with artwork made to last.

My studio is on the Boise Bench at 1524 S. Vista Ave., Ste 1, in the Historic Hoppie Building. I also photograph on-location throughout Boise, Eagle, Meridian, and the Treasure Valley.
I know finding clothes for your family photography session is stressful. I'll assist with color selection and wardrobe styling to coordinate with your home decor. Our personal stylist is available to create shoppable wardrobe options for you.
Most sessions run about an hour — plenty of time for different groupings, outfit changes if you'd like, and a mix of posed and candid moments. Extended family sessions may need a bit more time.
I've been photographing Boise families for nearly two decades and have an extensive list of locations available for your session. We will discuss what your portrait goals are, if there are any locations important to your family, take into account your home decor style, and make our final selection based on those factors.

We'll keep an eye on the weather and reschedule if needed. I also have a beautiful studio that works great as a backup option.
Yes of course! The more the merrier! I love to photograph the entire family and have several favorite locations that work well for this type of session. Please reach out to us by email or text and we can go over extended family session options with you.
Yes please! Furry friends are part of the family and should be included in your family session. We would like to discuss the options with you prior to your session, as some locations do not allow dogs and we like to make sure your dog is the right temperament for a photo session.
Please don't stress about your kids "behaving." I love kids of all ages, and my favorite thing is capturing your family as you really are. I've photographed thousands of families and always get beautiful, genuine images. I keep sessions fun and efficient so no one gets worn out.
Absolutely! Couples sessions, anniversary portraits, and empty-nester photos are some of my favorites. Your family doesn't have to include kids to deserve beautiful portraits.
