Maternity sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph. There's something so beautiful about this season of waiting, anticipation, and quiet excitement. These portraits celebrate you — your strength, your beauty, and the incredible thing your body is doing.
Sessions are held in my light-filled Boise studio, where everything is designed to help you feel comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful. I recommend booking during your second trimester to secure your preferred date — especially if you're pairing maternity with a newborn session or First Year Collection.

what to expect
The best time for maternity photos is between 28-34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible but you're still comfortable.
What to wear
I'll provide wardrobe guidance after you book, but in general: form-fitting fabrics that show off your bump photograph beautifully. Flowy dresses, fitted gowns, or even simple jeans and a bra — whatever feels like you.
The studio also has a small client closet with gowns available for your session.
Investment
Or add maternity to your newborn or First Year Collection. If you'd prefer to do a maternity session outdoors, you'll want to book a Signature Session.
Booking fee reserves your session date. Prints, products, and digital images are selected at your ordering appointment. Most clients invest 650-1,500+ on their maternity portraits.

Form-fitting fabrics that hug your bump are best — flowy dresses, fitted gowns, or something simple like jeans and a beautiful top. I'll send wardrobe guidance after booking, and the studio has a few client gowns available to borrow.
Absolutely! I love including partners and siblings for part of the session. We'll start with your solo portraits, then bring them in for family shots.
Maternity sessions are held in my studio on the Boise Bench. The space is bright, modern, and designed to make you feel comfortable and beautiful.
Yes — and I recommend it! Many moms add maternity to their newborn session or book the First Year Collection, which can include maternity, newborn, milestone, and first birthday sessions.
Absolutely! If you'd prefer an outdoor maternity session in the Boise area, you'll want to book a Signature Session instead. This gives us more time and flexibility to explore beautiful outdoor locations. Reach out and we'll find the perfect spot for you.
