A Joyful, Relaxed Family Studio Photography Experience in Boise
When families come to my family studio sessions, my goal is to make the experience easy, comfortable, and fun. No stiff poses, no stress—just real moments that reflect your family as you are right now.
For the E Family, that meant snuggling on the bed, reading books, and capturing the everyday magic of this stage in their lives. Their sweet baby girl, with her big, soulful brown eyes, was all smiles as she pushed up and showed off her newest milestone—sitting up like a pro! Meanwhile, her big brother brought all the energy and excitement, running, playing, and making sure there was never a dull moment. I could have photographed his bright brown eyes and infectious laughter all day!
The Beauty of Photographing Kids as They Are
One of the most rewarding parts of what I do as a family photographer is letting kids be kids. At two years old, big brother was full of boundless energy and curiosity, which made for the most joyful, playful moments. Instead of forcing him to sit still, we embraced his personality—letting him move, explore, and have fun while capturing images that feel authentic to this moment in time.
And little sister? She was pure sweetness, completely content soaking up cuddles and flashing those big brown eyes at the camera. At six months old, babies are changing so quickly, and this session beautifully preserved this stage—from her tiny hands grasping at mom’s fingers to her wide-eyed wonder at everything around her.
