I have made it a goal for this year to photograph something every day and post it on my blog to share. Well, as you can tell I’m a little late to start on the blog posting but I do have photos for every day so far. I plan to keep up with this but I can’t make any promises that I will post them everyday, sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day, lol!

I have one more to share along with a sad story for me. I was playing with the camera and my reluctant model when my favorite lens died šŸ™ For you photographers that read it is my 85mm f/1.2L. I tried taking off the lens and replacing it, taking the camera batteries out, put it on a different camera, switched the lens to manual focus … nothing!! The manual focus ring doesn’t even work anymore. Of course, I called Canon as soon as I realized what had happened and I am sending my lens in tomorrow for diagnostics and hopefully repairs. So, here is the last image taken with my beautiful 85mm f/1.2L lens, it’s of my beautiful but reluctant son.

I know I said sneak peeks today, but I ran out of time. On of my New Year’s Resolutions is to go to bed earlier. 1 am is too late (or is it early), so I’m shooting for 11 pm as my new bedtime. More tomorrow!

ABOUT tiffany

I freaking love kids! And I bring that playful energy and professional eye to every session so you don’t just get photos — you get memories your family will actually remember.

I’m a family photographer based in Boise, Idaho, capturing everything from first snuggles to senior year and all the beautiful, joy-filled moments in between. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked with hundreds of families, played with thousands of kiddos, and told more punny jokes than I can count—all in the name of making something real
