My mom has been wanting a new family portrait for SOOOOOOOOOO long now. My sister and her husband live out of the area and we’re all so busy that it’s been really hard to plan. But, this week my sister came to town and we finally made it happen. We went to the Boise Depot and I set up my camera with a tripod and infrared remote. Luckily, I’m proficient in Photoshop and was able to do some layer masking of two photos to get a portrait of everyone looking at the camera, lol! And the result …
Now, I also had my family portraits taken by a good friend a couple weekends ago and I have the chance to repay the courtesy for her this weekend! Once again, it’s a good thing I’m good at swapping heads because I used 3 different photos to create our family portrait. I am THRILLED with the result and my oh so super fabulous 30×40 gallery wrap canvas arrived yesterday (which I will take photos of next week). Enjoy and have a great weekend!
Such a beautiful family! I am so going to need your step by step instructions on the head swapping, really. I had a family of 12 last weekend and it doesn’t matter that I overshot by hundreds, still, it’s almost impossible to make sure everyone is looking. It doesn’t bother me that the kids are just doing their thing, but the client wants everyone looking at the camera with a smile. Oh, I had to postpone Dina photographing my family because of the wildfires. We are going to reschedule our trip to San Diego sometime.
Superb portrait!! WOW!! I need to figure out the self timer on my camera. I would love to get some sort of family portrait. You look beautiful Tiff!
Oh my! All the people I love most in one photograph. Be still my heart!! You can tell I’m delighted by the big cheesy grin on my face! What a gift. Thank you, Tiffany!
