I love kids — they're my favorite! I let them be themselves and capture all the expressions that make them unique. No pressure to be perfect or smile on command. I encourage you to bring a favorite thing (stuffy, blanket, sports gear, pet) — kids really shine when showing off what makes them happy.
Signature sessions run about an hour — enough time for outfit changes, different setups, and letting your child warm up. Simplicity sessions are about 20-30 minutes in the studio.
I photograph kids of all ages — from wobbly toddlers to tweens. Each stage has its own magic, and I love capturing the personality that shines through at every age.
We know finding clothes for your child's session can be stressful. We will assist with color selection and wardrobe styling to coordinate with your home decor. Our personal stylist is available to create shoppable wardrobe options for you.
I have been photographing kids for 20 years. I have learned tricks on how to get them to open up and be themselves in front of the camera. I love to spend time getting to know them and what makes them tick. I am good with energetic extroverts and shy introverted kids. Bring me all the kids!
I've been photographing Boise children for nearly two decades and have an extensive list of locations available for your session. We will discuss what your portrait goals are, if there are any locations important to your child, take into account your home decor style, and make our final selection based on those factors.

Simplicity sessions are offered year-round on select weekdays. On occasion, we do offer limited edition mini session event for kids in the studio. To stay up to date on upcoming mini sessions and special studio events, sign up for the newsletter.
Absolutely! Pets are welcome — just give me a heads up so we can plan for it. If we're in the studio, we'll chat beforehand to make sure it's a good fit. Kids and their pets together? Some of my favorite images.
I recommend 1-2 months for most seasons, and 3-4 months for fall (my busiest time). Last-minute? Reach out anyway — I'll do my best to fit you in.
My studio is on the Boise Bench in the Historic Hoppie Building at 1524 S. Vista Ave., Ste 1, Boise, ID 83705. It's bright, kid-friendly, and designed to make little ones feel comfortable.
