what should we wear for family photos?
We know finding clothes for you family photography session is stressful. We will assist with color selection and wardrobe styling to coordinate with your home decor. Our personal stylist is available to create shoppable wardrobe options for you.
what if my kids don't behave
PLEASE don't worry about your kids "behaving" for the photo shoot. We LOVE kids of all ages and my favorite thing is to capture your family how you really are. I have photographed thousands of families and I ALWAYS get beautiful and unique images of each family. I take care to make the session fun for everyone and do my best to be efficient and quick so that we aren't spending longer than needed at your session.
when should we book our family photography session?
Fall is our most popular season for family portraits as the weather cools off slightly and your images can be included on your holiday cards. Spring is wonderful as the flowers start to bloom, and our long Boise summer nights bring golden light that look warm and glowy at sunset.
Regardless of what time of year you would like to have us photograph your family, we recommend reaching out 5-6 months in advance for fall dates and 3-4 months for the rest of the year.

Can we bring our dog?
Yes please! Furry friends are part of the family and should be included in your family session. We would like to discuss the options with you prior to your session, as some locations do not allow dogs and we like to make sure your dog is the right temperament for a photo session.
